Day 92Darrington, Washington
The night before, you reach a lake very late. Campers accompanied by aggressive dogs make the place unfriendly and I prefer not to stay. After taking water, I go back to the front to the next camp, almost 5 miles further.
I finally find a small unofficial location at the edge of the trail and lie down after 22:00. The night is short, but I sleep properly.
The next day offers beautiful landscapes and the first serious blowdowns of the section. I maintain a large distance despite fatigue. Tomorrow should be slower, so I take advantage of the camp to inventory the food recovered at Stevens Pass and adjust the last few days.
