Day 90Skykomish, Washington
The day is long, around 34 miles, with lots of climbs, descents and some technical passages. I am very tired in the morning and climb hard, then find better sensations in the afternoon.
I stop at a small location with Eric. The floor is not very flat. During the night, a heavy rain forms a puddle in the tent and wets almost everything: down, down, tent, food bag and accessories bag containing papers, emergency kit and toothbrush.
I leave the next day in a rain suit with still damp material. The last section will be decidedly less simple than the forest of the first days suggested.
