Day 86Naches, Washington
The day passes through the surroundings of Mount Rainier National Park. The views become grandiose, with several ridges and very open landscapes, despite some areas of forest burned at the end of the journey.
It’s Sunday and many day hikers visit the trails. After weeks when I sometimes meet almost nobody, this presence changes strongly the atmosphere.
I grow up to about 35 miles. Finding a location at the end of the day is complicated, a small square of land right next to the trail is finally enough.
