Day 75Blue River, Oregon
The day before, I crossed a region full of lakes, wetlands and forests. Water is abundant, so much so that I drink less than I should. I meet two people with dogs.
I’m camping by Mac Lake, in a beautiful location. Morning remains cold and misty, yellow bonnet, cap, gloves and mittens according to the passages.
The day provides about 36 miles and 1,700 meters of positive elevation. I find that I haven’t taken enough bars and have to ration slightly desserts and breakfast. I give up the detour by Elk Lake to make a bigger day and arrive more comfortably at Big Lake Youth Camp the next day.
