Day 71Crescent, Oregon
I wake up in a damp down, with clothes still soaked. Arrive around 08:30 and start with essential needs: toilets, garbage, recharge, water and resupply.
The store mainly offers ramen, bars and a few snacks, enough for two and a half days. I then have a real hot breakfast, near the fire: pancakes, toast, eggs and bacon. With a Coke and extra donuts, I find a little energy, the place is top.
I go back to Crater Lake and choose the Rim Trail, more panoramic than the official route. However, it is recovering from snow. The tent and down did not have time to dry and the fog may mask the lake. Several “section hikers” met at the restaurant hesitate to walk, I prefer to move forward, because staying there will not dry my things further.
