Day 70Klamath County, Oregon
Rain starts at night. The down is wet, clothing is wet, and fog persists all day. My gloves end up totally soaked, I abandon them.
Despite these conditions, I travel about 34 miles. The numerous blowdowns further slow down the progression and make the day more stressful than it would have been on a clear path.
I finish cold, wet and tired, with little food left. At least the bag is light. Mazama Village is no longer far away and must allow to dry everything.
