The day before was more pleasant thanks to some clouds, despite a big day and a lot of elevation. As for food, I have to ration: cold mashed potatoes are one of the last possible meals without gas. I divide it into 2 servings, finish the peanut butter and limit the bars.

The camp, at altitude and with little exposure to the wind, is excellent. My heels remain painful and discomfort appears in the thigh at the end of the day. It looks like a beginning of contracture, but disappears after a few hours of walking in the morning.

Kennedy Meadows is far away.
