Day 88Snoqualmie Pass (North Bend, Washington)
I hurry in the morning to get to Snoqualmie Pass around 11:30. A room is available in the small ski resort, at a high price, but I decide to take a real break before the next section.
I watch France-Spain in a bar-restaurant and eat Katsu chicken with rice, a welcome change after burgers and pizzas. I’ve also had my first beers in a long time. France loses, but the moment remains pleasant.
Then I make a 6-day supply by comparing the 3 small shops available. The volume is important, I’m trying to remove the superfluous without taking the risk of missing. The rest of the day serves to wash me, tidy up the equipment and pick up in the room.
