Day 73Crescent, Oregon
I’m targeting Shelter Cove Resort on the edge of Odell Lake. The place is mainly designed for campers in vehicles and boating activities, but it offers a shop, restaurant, showers and laundry.
I hike a little over 21 miles and arrive around 13:15. I find Pogo and several section hikers, including 1 person hiking with a dog. I eat a salmon sandwich for a change from burgers, complete my resupply and have the usual Coke and ice cream.
I hesitate to leave, then finally decide to stay. The rest mainly allows to wash and dry all still wet things from Crater Lake. A camping area is reserved for hikers, it is not perfect, but enough.
