Day 11Big Bear Lake, California

After 8 miles to Highway 18, I get a ride to Big Bear almost immediately. The city stretches along a large road lined with shops. I start with a 4-day resupply at Vons, then treat myself to a proper meal with a burger, fries, Coke and a milkshake.

At the hotel, I can finally take a shower, do laundry, recharge my devices, rest and prepare for the next 4 days until Wrightwood.
